In partnership with local organizations, Rusty Dun Fly Fishing Adventures recommends a series of classes and workshops designed for people of all angling levels.

River and Riptide Anglers offers informal fly tying during the off season. Held most every Monday evening, this is a great way to meet some fellow anglers as well as learn some new fly patterns. The emphasis on these evenings is getting together for some fun and tying.

United Fly Tyers of Rhode Island was formed with the single mission of education. There are various fly tying tables at every meeting and the leader will instruct those tyers at the table in the fly pattern that he selected for the evening. At the beginner's table, special care is taken to make sure that the novice tyer is learning all the basics.
